Nimbus
Conservation was originally set up by a group of conservators
who had been working on the conservation of the West Front
of Wells Cathedral. It became
a limited company in 1991 and is now based at purpose-built
workshop and offices in Frome. Nimbus employs some forty people
from all sorts of backgrounds with a wealthy variety of experience
and talents - this enables the company to offer a wide range
of conservation disciplines.
This web site gives
a flavour of the company including recent, current and future
projects, details of some of the techniques used and the Nimbus
charter which summarises the philosophy that underpins the
company.
All projects, from important
heritage sites to small parish churches, receive the same care
and attention to detail from the teams of craftsmen and conservators
backed up by the support of our administrative organisation. |
